College’s spring magazine in mailboxes soon
A College of Agriculture alumnus who’s hit the ground running as the college’s new dean and Alabama Agricultural Experiment Station director.
An Auburn poultry science freshman/entrepreneur who’s burning up the highway with his menagerie of party animals.
An alum and loyal supporter who’s taking a year off to sail America’s Great Loop.
An Auburn rural sociologist who’s passionate about fueling the burgeoning local-foods movement.
These are among the members of the College of Agriculture family whom you’ll meet in the spring 2016 issue of The Season magazine that’s now en route to your mailbox.
The Season, which debuted with the fall 2015 issue, is published twice a year and mailed to 10,266 College of Ag alumni, donors and friends across the U.S. If you missed out on the inaugural issue, email your name and mailing address to email@example.com, and you’ll be added to the mailing list.
In the spring issue’s 56 news- and feature-packed pages, you can get the scoop on everything from the two new majors the college will roll out this fall to the latest plans for razing dear old Funchess Hall and from an all-out AAES research initiative aimed at maximizing crop yields to an Atlanta couple’s generous $2.5 million gift to honor a poultry industry pioneer.
Be sure to check out Class Notes, too, a section filled with status updates submitted by College of Ag alumni from as far back as the ’40s. Then tell us what’s happening with you at agriculture.auburn.edu/update, and we’ll pass it along to your former classmates in the fall 2016 issue of The Season.
