Liu's research on mosquito insecticide resistance published in Annual Review of Entomology

Photo of a mosquitoDr. Nannan Liu, endowed professor and chair of the Department of Entomology and Plant Pathology, was recently published in the Annual Review of Entomology for her research on mosquito insecticide resistance. Her article, “Insecticide Resistance in Mosquitoes: Impact, Mechanisms, and Research Directions,” appears in the journal’s 2015 edition, released in January.

Liu has been at Auburn University since 1997, serving in research, teaching and administrative roles. She had previously been a research associate and postdoctoral fellow at Cornell University, where she completed her Ph.D. Liu has chaired Auburn’s Department of Entomology and Plant Pathology since March 2014.
